Double line bred Leviton/Vasallo II

  QUITASUENA KDW

She is sired by HEROE MAC formerly of Kimric Farms and is out of the mare NOCHERA D who is a lovely silver gray. See Quita's pedigree below.

See Heroe's video

Heroe Mac is exquisite; he makes my eyes go misty with his beauty of body and movement. I am very proud to have one of his outstanding daughters.

'Quita' and her 3 foals from Esclavo are gray.

Quita and Calia Cdv were DNA tested for color. They were the foundation testers for the first Andalusian color DNA by Davis University in California.

Their '10 colt also will be gray; he is for sale...see the sale page. Contact me for terms, pricing, and more pics.

The foal due in July '11 is also for sale. Contact me for terms, pricing, and more pics.

Casa de Vida is a member of the Foundation  (P.R.E. Mundial) of the Pure Spanish Horse.

ESCLAVO XXV was bred to Quita in 2007, 2008, 2009. 2010 and has produced outstanding fillies 2 times. The 2010 colt is amazing and is available for purchase. The first filly has been sold to a good friend and will remain on the ranch...YEA! I get to watch her mature.

Their fillies are Calia CdV and Castiza Cdv.

Esclavo has since given 'Quita' a full sister to Calia... Castiza CdV,  Mundial inscribed. She has been sold to my friend Carol Walch at Wind Dance Farms of Santa Maria. I feel very lucky that she will be near me so I can watch her develop into a wonderful mare.

Castiza CdV
Castiza CdV
Castiza is a lovely filly and now at almost 3, she will make a wonderful ride for her owner and admirer.

German, the ranch trainer, looks forward to starting her under saddle in late 2011.

Don't worry, the filly slid to a stop feet away from me and gently came up to say "HI!" like the good P.R.E. that she is!

SUENO CdV
Sueno CdVAnd introducing their outstanding colt: Sueno CdV.

We were so impressed by this days old colt.   Very hard to put a price on this beauty....would you like him in your barn? contact me and we will talk.

WELCOME SUENO CdV!

See more Sueno pics on the foals page.

A note from Linda: I have been horse   crazy for all my life.

I rode every day I could during my teens. I was lucky to experience the wonders of AQHA, Tennessee Walker, Foxtrotter, and many others including a long term relationship with Peruvians, one of whom -Spirit, I still own and ride.

I feel very privileged to have the Andalusian P.R.E.

Popular Andalusian crosses:

Andalusian x Quarter Horse or APHA = Azteca

Andalusian x Thoroughbred = Iberian Warmblood

Andalusian x Percheron = Spanish Norman

Andalusian x Arabian = Hispano Arabe

All the above are eligible for registration as 1/2 Andalusian in the IALHA and as purebreds in their respective breed registries.

Quarters, Thoroughbreds, Percherons, Arabians also have 1/2 blood registries.
